OnTarget Payroll
The Payroll module is both accurate and easy to use. It accommodates Weekly, Bi-weekly, Semi-monthly and Monthly payroll periods. It supports 8 different pay types, Regular Hourly, Overtime Hourly, Premium Hourly, Salary, Holiday, Vacation, Commission, and Bonus or Other Pay. It calculates Federal and State taxes and allows two different state withholdings for each employee; in case you have an employee that sometimes works across state lines. It supports up to 8 miscellaneous deductions per employee including 401K and Section 125 Cafeteria plans. It allows you to enter prospective employees and transfers them to the Active employee file when they are hired. It prints reports that make quarterly filings a snap. It Prints checks and supports Direct Deposit, creating a NACHA standard format file for you to send to your bank.

Employee Maintenance
This function allows you to enter and maintain all relevant information on your employees including demographic data and job description, Direct Deposit info, Pay Method, Per Diem, Worker's comp classification, Vacation, Expenses, Holidays, Pay type and rate, Pay period, Federal and state withholding information, Miscellaneous Deductions, and Paycheck address if different from the home address.

Enter Pay Transactions and Print Checks
This function allows you to enter employee hours and pay and calculate and print payroll checks.

Void Checks
This function allows you to void a payroll check issued in error. It reverses all payroll and G/L transactions.

Close Deductions
This function allows you to clear period to date totals for miscellaneous deductions at the end of the relevant period for the deduction.

Year End
This function is run at the end of each year to start the payroll system off for the next year.

Maintain Payroll Constants
This function allows you to maintain the default values that determine how your payroll system runs. This is where federal, state, miscellaneous deduction, and holiday data is entered.

Maintain Prospective Employees
This function allows you to add and maintain and remove information on prospective employees. If one is hired you can automatically transfer that information to the Active employees file, without having to re-enter any of it.

Reports
This function allows you to print out the following: Employee Index List, Paycheck Register, Employee Mailing Labels, Employee Trial Balance, Export to W2 program, FUTA, SUTA, FICA, and Medicare quarterly reports, Paycheck History by Employee, 401K and Miscellaneous deductions report.
